Our Treasures

The artwork contributed by the Year 3 & 4 classes of Plimmerton School, Wellington. The pastels were done as part of a computer based research project undertaken by the children. They talked about how whales are a part of our world and how we still need to protect these beautiful creatures from harm. As part of the study they were asked to draw pictures and the theme was "Whales in the sea enjoying a pollution and danger free life".

The artwork provided by the students of Year 3 & 4 Classes of Plimmerton School

    WHALES

    Whales, whales, whales
How I love you when you
    Dive down deep
    Whales, whales, whales
    Your not a baby chick
    Saying "peep"
    Whales, whales, whales
    Blue, silver, black and white
Oh! Your such a beautiful sight.
